Violette A.C.
Violette Athletic Club is a Haitian football club, one of the nation's most successful. The club is located in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and plays in the Stade Sylvio Cator. Violette A.C. won the CONCACAF Champions' Cup in 1984. Unfortunately the club has been relegated to second division after the 2010–11 Ligue Haïtienne season.
The club has produced many talented Haitian footballers, including Alexandre Boucicaut and Sebastien Vorbe. Violette Athletic Club is regarded as one of Haiti's most prestigious football club. In the past the club was associated with the mulatoes in oposition to Racing Club Haïtien, in the past identified with the blacks.
